Updated over a week ago

This tab allows you to set the destination for the current file list. It includes an input field and two list boxes for managing paths.

  • Set Destination: Click on any item to set it as the destination path.

  • Add to Favorites: Right-click on any item to add it to your favorites.

Input Field

  • Manual Path Entry: Enter paths manually when TeraCopy is in idle mode.

  • Multiple Targets: Use | to specify multiple destinations, e.g., D:\Path|E:\Path.

  • Path Display: The entered path is displayed next to the target button.

  • Error Indication: If an invalid path is entered, the text will be highlighted in red.

  • Auto-Create Paths: TeraCopy will try to create the path if it does not exist.

[+] Button

  • Add Target: Browse to add another folder as a target to the current path.

  • Append Path: Add subpaths from the source to the target.

  • Path to Volume GUID: Use the volume ID instead of the drive letter to avoid changes when reconnecting removable devices.

    • Note: Some card readers assign fixed IDs to their slots, not the inserted media.

  • History Display: View previous copies saved in history, including all paths used.

  • Favorite Folders: Permanently save any folder from history or file managers for quick access.

  • Multiple Targets: Use the Shift key to select multiple destinations simultaneously.
