The "Status" section of TeraCopy provides a detailed overview of the ongoing operation, allowing you to monitor the progress and performance.

Top section: individual file progress

  • Displays a list of files currently being processed, each file has a progress bar.

  • The progress percentage is displayed on the right side, along with the amount of data processed out of the total file size.

  • The file can be skipped by right-clicking and selecting Skip.

Bottom section: summary of task status

The table shows the real-time progress of file transfers, displaying details like completion status, source and target paths, file sizes, and the count of folders and files involved.

Right-click to switch between bytes, megabytes, and gigabytes.

Additional information

  • Time - The elapsed time since the process started.

  • Speed - The average transfer speed.

  • Target Disk Information - the type of disk (e.g., SSD), file system (e.g., NTFS), and the available free space on the disk.
