This guide describes the elements visible in the TeraCopy process window during an ongoing operation.
Top Left
Operation Icon and Paths: Displays an icon indicating the current operation mode (e.g., Copying, Testing) along with the source and target paths.
Top Right
Time Left: Estimated time remaining for the operation to complete.
Total Progress: Percentage of the overall task completed.
Current Speed: Current data transfer rate.
File Counters: Shows the number of completed, skipped, and failed files during the operation.
Bottom Left
Control Buttons:
Pause: Temporarily stop the operation.
Stop: Terminate the ongoing process.
Verify Checkbox: When checked, TeraCopy will verify the copied files against the originals after completion.
Unattended Checkbox: Configure TeraCopy to handle file name conflicts automatically without user intervention.
Bottom Right
Processed Bytes: Displays the total amount of data processed and the total size for the current task.
Circular Progress Indicators:
Hovering over these shows the name of the currently processing file.
Clicking on an indicator opens a menu with options:
Skip File: Skip processing the current file.
Open File Location: Opens the file's location in Windows Explorer.
Background and Bottom
Progress Bar: Displays the overall progress of the current operation, giving a clear visual indication of the task's completion status.
Speed Graph: Provides insights into transfer speed fluctuations, helping to identify performance issues or network constraints. For a more detailed view, refer to the Log tab.
